Mount Erymanthos

Today I joined Olenos club on a walk of a small part of the path of Pausanias, an greek geographer of the 2nd century AC, that connects Patras with Olympia. This path was described in the seventh book of his lengthy work, Description of Greece. We walked from Ano Vlasia village to the small space between Lepida (1.878 m) and Machairas (1.893 m) peaks of Mount Erymanthos. Some highlights:

A small puppy (...by the way Puppy Linux is a small Linux distribution that you may want to try) at the end of our journey.

ZK tetraphobia

My team's web development choice for web development is ZK. Current release is 3.6.2 and the upcoming release will be zk 5. I wondered for a couple of weeks why zk development team jumped to 5 instead of zk 4.

I investigated the issue and found out that the reason is the so called tetraphobia... fear for number 4.

Snow Leopard

I just installed Snow Leopard on my mac machines using an exterrnal hard drive and Snow Leopard dmg file. Everything went well (use USB on the back side of your iMac not the one on the keyboard) and indeed SL is fast. I will investigate in the afternoon to check put new QuickTime X and any inconsistencies with MyEclipse IDE 7.5 (hope this works...).

Το στρατόπεδο μου

Αυτές τις μέρες ορκίστηκε ένας πολύ καλός μου φίλος και αρκετοί γνωστοί στρατιώτες. Επι την ευκαιρία να η φωτογραφία της εισόδου του Συντάγματος της ΕΛΔΥΚ στην Μαλούντα Λευκωσίας.

Χωρίς να το καταλάβω έθεσα στον τίτλο το κτητικό μου... το στρατόπεδο μου (για λόγους που ίσως ποτέ να μην κατανοήσουν οι νέοι στρατιώτες που αναφέρθηκα πριν).
